Georgie Harris textiles at Maison Amour
Discover the hand made textiles collection from Georgie Harris, an established designer who specialises in creating exquisite fashion and home accessories. Each product is meticulously crafted from luxurious hand dyed silks and velvets.
Her designs take their inspiration from the study of flowers surrounding her Peak District Studio, with their delicate colours and textures reflected in the painterly qualities and feel of every piece.
The design process is a combination of both screen printing and hand-painting the fabric. This creates subtle differences in every print, producing beautiful accessories which are entirely unique and individual.
Georgie graduated from Central St Martins with a degree in Textile Design. Her collection was bought by Liberty who commissioned a home accessories collection.
Georgie then worked for Sanderson gaining valuable commercial experience designing furnishing fabrics for both their traditional and contemporary collections.
She recently moved to the Peak District where she started her own company returning to her first real passion - designing, printing and making her own unique creations.
Her work has appeared in numerous interior design publications such as House and Garden, Homes and Garden and Country Homes and Interiors.
